Relay UK
We use the Relay UK phone service for members who have little or no hearing, or people with speech difficulties who want to telephone us.
This service is run and regulated by BT and is a three-way phone call between a hearing or speech-impaired person, a hearing Relay Assistant, and the Society. The system supports the person calling with a Relay Assistant who ‘relays’ the conversation between each person on the call.
Relay UK can be accessed by calling 18001 followed by the telephone number or by downloading the app.
